I would expect that the jetting and timing to not be too far off.. IIRC you had a 95 TW60 at something like 10.8 and you went to a 97 at 10.5 with 585s.. I assume that most of this was to fix the oil issue.. Do you think you'll make much more power?
I dunno... Of course I hope there is something extra! I think the 585s should pop a little bit more, and the heads were opened up further... I'm not really sure if compression went slightly up or slightly down, as I don't know the exact volume of my heads. But yes, you're correct that the impetus for all of this was an increasing ping (probably from carbon buildup) and some oil starting to burn (and the rockers starting to leak)...
If everything had been fine but I really wanted more power, I probably would've gone in a different direction (maybe)... Like an S&S 124 possibly...
The original build didn't suck, at least for a 95... 106 HP, 108 Lbs/Ft...
I would probably be satisfied with 110 all around... For now...
Looks Ace, man! Really, really dig those jet blued stainless head pipes! I need to find somebody to make me some stainless (or titanium!) drag pipes.
Not to hijack...but if you're serious I know a dude that is amazing with titanium. He's built full titanium race car headers that are absolutely beautiful.

Not in the budget this year, but it's definitely on the to-do list. I'd have to see all the numbers (cost v. weight) to decide between materials. Hell, if I can get my own TIG skills up to par, I'd consider welding up my own. I'm.just not sure I can live with welded sections vs fully mandrel bent. Since I used to be a CNC tube bending guy I can be pretty critical of that sorta thing.
