I like my mini boards alot but I am wondering how many Custom Adapter Brackets I could sell....to accomplish what sandro__s@hotmail.com is wanting to do. I have a metal shop and CNC design and fabrication capability I custom design brackets for off road and car guys regularly. Sandro can you PM me, maybe I could make a simple prototype. But I will probably keep my mini floor boards...
Nice sled, I'm running the HD boards on mine, but I like the mini's have an adjustability to them. Do you have different risers on your bike, I'm thinking they'd be a good improvement from stock setup; I'm 6'2 so it'd be more relaxed but not sure what's entailed with cables and all then....
no everything is stock on this bike. well, WAS stock. I finally figured this issue out! Luckily for me I work at a fab shop. We do not have a CNC machine but we were still able to cut and weld a few custom brackets for the standard "Shaker" floorboards. They are a bit crude but when painted look great! They are basically hidden anyways so i really dont care. the ride is WAY more comfortable now and i am much happier. My bike is not going into any shows and i never intend on it! I just need to get some proper bolts to replace the temporary ones i was using to fit everything up. I will upload some pics to show what I've done when I bolt them back up. Its winter now so this will be a lazy winter project so dont expect pics anytime soon lol!
