I've deleted my rear turn signals to make way for my removeable sissy bar attachments and I like the look of the Bobber without the turns sticking out. Does anyone offer a tail light that has the turn signals built in?
You can't just run the Panacea w/o additional turn signals - they work in conjunction with Kury LED inserts for signals (I wanted to do the same thing - checked w/ a tech at J&P) Please prove me wrong on this - I'd like to do the same thing!
Alloy Art makes some awesome strut lights that can be used for signals; unfourtunately, they don't have any for the '06-'07 yet. Get enough folks to request and I'm sure they will oblige...
I have the Kuryakyn Panacea Tail Lights it works and looks great!
Punty,
Are you running just the Panacea taillight/signal combo or do you still have stand-alone signals? I have the same taillight but was told it would only work w/ Kury LED inserts installed in another set of signals...
If you are running just the taillight/signal combo on the Panacea, please indulge us with some part numbers and instructions - this is exactly the configuration I have been wanting for the 'BoogieGlide' - I'm running a set of custom signals I had some millwrights fab up for me at work...
The Panacea taillight is designed to work with either the stock incandescent turnsignals or the Panacea LED turnsignals. There is s switch on the control module that had to be set depending on what you are running. This link with give you the install directions from the Kuryakyn site : http://www.kuryakyn.com/documents/in...-25HD-0806.pdf
A thought for those of you looking to eliminate the rear turnsignals. When you add the Kuryakyn LED turnsignals to the front of the bike with the Panacea set up, you have to add an additional load equalizer. The basic Panacea setup comes with one load equilizer. It may be possible to eliminate the rear turnsignals and run the Panacea with the Kuryakyn LEDs on the front and just the standard load equalizer.
I am running the with LEDs all around, and due to installed error (me) I fried my taillight and control module last week. The guys at Kuryakyn's tech support were awesome, and they might be able to provide some insight on this issue also.
So the Panacea tail light can be used as a stand alone unit? As in it would be both the tail/brake light and the turn signals? No other rear turns at all? Just trying to get some clarification.
