My only real gripe I would say is the suspension, It's about as low budget as you can get.

M8 has liquid cooled heads; either water or oil depending on application. M8 also has counterbalancer across the board. I don't want no M8 on a Dyna. Add a metric-style 3-way turn switch and I might as well just get a metric. I don't give a runny **** about badges. To me, Harley is about the soul in the machine and they are engineering that out with every new iteration.

The Michellin Scorcher & Michellin Commander 2's are basically the same exact tire. Only difference is the Scorcher's are HD branded and have a slightly different tread pattern but they are pretty much the same tire. I also replaced my Scorcher's at 9k tho the front was still good I could have gotten another 500-1000 out of the rear but I was on my way to an 1800 mile road trip so changed them both out a lil early. Noticed no difference between the 2 tires, other than the Commanders felt better right off but that's because they were new with thick tread. My Scorcher's were just as good when they were new.

Also, my 2015 SB fuel gauge works most excellent until I lifted the tank but that not HD's fault.

Stuck bolts, broken exhaust stud, too soft suspension, can be uncomfortable

but I love it!

Yes, we all love Harleys that's why we are all here.

But we also say it like it is. Who knows, maybe it will start a process to change things for the better.

And yes, for less than 17K which is very close to Dyna price you can buy a car.

Not that it can replace a Dyna, just saying its not cheap.

It shakes at idle so bad the front tire bounces and it vibrates the mirrors so bad going down the road they are useless. The stock headlight sucks. But I bought it cause I like everything about it. It's a Harley.

To each their own, but for me there was a noticeable difference in traction, I'd be surprised to find out they're the same compound...

As others have comnented, not my 1st Harley so knew what I was in for.
Pretty much meets all my expectations, both good & bad.

If they were perfect out the box, we'd all be bored...
