Wow, come on guys were just talking here let's not get personal. Me, I'm totally fine with the gas mileage that's staying consistent at around 45 which is typical. I can tweak my map and change it up or down depending on what I'm wanting the motor to do. I don't really require state of the art circuitry from my motorcycles so I'm good with what comes with it. As far as price, I payed somewhere around 14-15k where can you buy a brand new car for that? Now the Touring bikes yeah, I could get a decent base price car for the price but we're talking bikes here.
Stock suspension was atrocious. Front end bottomed out under medium-hard braking, felt too floaty-boaty for me. Easily fixed with RaceTech springs up front and quality shocks out back.
Shift lever kept walking off the shaft, caused the shaft to strip completely on the freeway one day, had to limp it to the dealer. I don't stand on it or stomp on it. Had to take it in to have it warrantied at 4k miles. Then the dealer put the WRONG shift lever on (standard mid control one for an FXDB, instead of the further forward mid shifter for the FXDL's) so I had to source one on my own while I waited a week for them to order the part from MoCo headquarters instead of getting it from the other dealership about 15 minutes away...now I have a spare
Stock Michelin scorchers - worst tires I've experienced on a Harley. Too hard of a compound yet the rear only lasted about 5k miles with aggressive riding. Replaced with Commander 2 on the rear - by no means a super sticky tire - night and day difference. Front one almost due at 10k miles...crap tires, wouldn't recommend anyone run them unless in a pinch...
Fuel gauge - as I'm sure thousands have said, Harley still cant seemingly get this one right...
Great thing is generally anything you don't like can be changed...isn't that half the reason we buy these bikes anyway, is to change ****?
As everyone's pretty much mentioned, suspension leaves a lot to be desired
Head light is not exactly illuminating at night
Seat, not comfy
Speed, not exactly something to peel back eyelids
Right Turn signal switch. Should be all kept on left side of handlebars like most bikes have.. Having to throttle and press the right switch is a pain in the ***.

No. Everybody else is doing it wrong.
Smooth idling, water cooled, & 3-way turn controls? Sorry Harley, I'll just get a Yamaha.
