I like most of the line up, really digging the Fat Bob, but after seeing the specs, a 3.6 gallon tank will not work. I feel like all I do is fill my 5 gallon tank as it is. Thinking maybe the Fatboy as I love me some big *** tires.

Don't think the dyna frame will ever come back though, they will save a mint by combining the 2 lines.
no more motor mount issues, wobbling, having to buy oil coolers, oil pan clearance issues, ....

there's plenty of good here.... just sad to see it go down like it did. We all knew this was coming

Yep. Change is always hard. A year from now, we may see that new section on the forum thriving...or, we from the Dyna forum may be over there trollin' Millennials about how the new HD they bought looks like a late 80's Honda Magna, and they don't have enough money to mod it.

Who knows?

I'm somewhat annoyed at the fact that if I eventually were to go down this road, my $2300 worth of Ohlins suspension is useless since it can't be moved to the new frame/fork. Ugh.

While I like some of what the new Fat Bob offers, just....can't....get....there on the new bikes. From what they say, the frame and suspension should provide for a better ride. Still aesthetically, I think they missed.

The new frame looks good on paper, but my biggest reason for preferring Dyna to Softail has always been ergonomics. No matter what combination of seat/bars/pegs on a Softail I've never been able to get as comfortable as on my Dynas with little to no changes. I haven't read anything yet about the new ones that discusses any changes to the rider triangle.

I think this is the big point here...nobody should be saying they are shocked the dyna is gone, and I'm excited to see how well it performs, but they totally missed the mark on the looks...the street bob now looks like a softail slim with a slightly different front end, and the low rider just doesn't look right to me...looking forward to seeing what the aftermarket does to help in the looks department, and I'm genuinely curious to see how these handle.

Will I be trading in my bike for one? I'd say not. Mine does everything I need it to, and looks good doing it...

well what do you expect? Now you have to spend more money which in my opinion is the whole point. Just out of curiousity, are you considering buying one of these new models? It seems like nobody likes it and most hate it. I know I'm very disappointed in these new models.

I'm sure I'll demo one, and I'm good if the tech is a positive move. Aesthetically they look real stubby to be for some reason. I hope they're comfortable and ride well, but one of the main reason's I bought a Harley was for the classic look and the fact that I could "comfortably" work on it myself. Wonder if that changes...

Also anybody else notice that the Fat Bob now has chain drive? I haven't looked at the others yet but that's what the specs say.

Edit::: My bad, pics look like standard belt drive, I was confusing primary drive (chain), vs. final I suppose
