Just got back from a (too short) camping trip up to Laconia.
Had a blast, and my little lowrider held an entire campsite quite admirably.
We took some great rides - went around the white mountains yesterday and then up to the Canadian border and back. Absolutely beautiful scenery in New Hampshire.
Anyway - the dyna did a magnificent job. I love the new headlight - it worked great... and the Boss bags are a lifesaver. They are excellent.
Can anybody help me? I'm trying to find saddlebag brackets for my Dyna. I've scoured the Moco's websiteand I've called the stealer I just bought the bike from - apparently the Moco doesn't make these brackets (the ones that keep your soft bags from getting tangled in your spokes). There's a set listed in Biker's Choice, but they say you don't need to relocate the indicators...which I think is a bunch of baloney.
Ran into somewhat of the same problem you have. I had gotten a set of bags, but I did have to re-locate the rear lites....no biggie. Then I found out that the existing holes in the fender struts are wider (in length) than the existing standoffs. I did find a set of 'adjustable' standoffs that fit perfect . they have an adjustment on the bottom of them also. I'm pretty sure I threw out the packaging, but they were in one of the aftermarket books eg drag, custom chrome. etc
Sounds like a great trip! If you're going to do more camping with your bike, you might want to take a look at this: http://www.hennessyhammock.com/
Very interesting. Looks like quote an invention.
I have to say it would be more comfortable on the back. My only concern would be storage of luggage etc - there isn't a horizontal floor on it. But I do think it would be a great item for mcycle camping!! THanks.

The riding up here can't be beat. Glad you enjoyed our little piece of Heaven on Earth.
Very nice. I have been talking about doing bike camping for a while now. I am waiting for my sissy bar, etc to arrive and then I'll give it a shot as well.
