Well, I just realized I shouldnt bash the new bikes. May spoil someone's fun.
Ha, lol, no please bash away, only thing I would suggest is that if you want to get some real traction with the bashing, perhaps the Soft Tail forum would be more suitable, as er well this is the "Dyna" Forum and all... For me personally, if I wanted to discuss Soft Tails, I would probably be in the Soft Tail forum but that's just me I guess...

I was at the York factory open house a few weeks ago. The Fat Bob was always out, I never got to ride it. I am speaking about the Fat Boy. That wide fat tire takes some serious leaning to get it around a corner. Otherwise however I thought it was much better feeling than last years model. Victory was on the fat rear tire thing, I thought that fad was over. The Heritage I rode was a real corner carver, just didn't float my boat looks wise.
I do want to ride the Fat Bob, but don't care for the chopped rear fender mostly. I like to buy what I want and not have to change a bunch of parts. Hopefully the future will bring a model that does it for me.
And according to cvaria, FB is the best performer Dyna.
Dont take him much seriously. He's affiliated with moco. He spreads bs about how fabulous the new line of bikes are in exchange for oil filters and T shirts and various coupons. He says he will buy one but I assure you he never will. If he's typing he's lying. Simple as that.
What jumps out at me is all the fork gaiter mentions. Really? They literally come off in 30 seconds with a razor knife guys.
Personally I like the new SB's. I think they look more throw back than previous SB's, which is kinda the current trend. There is NOTHING Bob about previous SB's. To me they were the were the Buick LeSabre's of the HD line up. !
