How the hell can a company give more when sales are down? they are laying off people, closing shops.

I haven't read the comments but I like it. I like all the 2018s. It needs taller bars. Shiny side up!

you didn't even notice, did you? so busy being a hater that you aren't actually evaluating the equipment/build quality on the bikes. fat bob, fat boy, and breakout are the only bikes with floaters. they have given more, so many improvements. helps to look with an open mind. it's okay to not want one but, at least understand the advantages and disadvantages of the new stuff.... feels like i've said that before...

What nonsense is this? You get a headlight and whatever caliper and you're paying more. Now spin is as much as you want.

The cost of making a SB just dropped significantly, by simply sharing the platform, the oldest trick for saving in mass production lines. Yet the price increased.

Some of you guys are so nearsighted and simplistic you dont even realize what's going on or how bad the situation is.

Just for starters, HD's stock HOG is down -10.9% over the last three months and down -19.6% over the last six months. ( as of 9/7/2017)
40% of sales are from outside US and that's down 2% since last year.

Just go look at their stock value since 2014 and see the steady decline.

Big motorcycle sales are down worldwide and there is nothing they can do about it. All they could think of was to make them a little smaller and a little lighter but that wont save them. You just cant make Escalades the size of Rav4 and call them cadillacs.

A company in financial troubles cannot give you more for less. The true of the matter is that they are selling you cheaper made bikes for more dollars.

Get your eyes beyond the caliper and an LED headlight maybe you can see what's happening.
