Hello all,
Im new to this forum. Ive got a 2012 Fat Bob that I purchased new, early 2013. I love it! Coming from riding crotch rockets, its been great riding COMFORTABLY the last few years.
After riding a few FLHX's, I've come to like the convenience of having a fairing with radio and what not. I have found though, that I am more comfy on my current FXDF, and have been searching for decent batwing setups....its been a chore. only found a couple for this particular bike. My question is, would one that fits other Harley's also fit this bike, with different brackets? or is the width, height, headlights, etc that much different? there are some really nice options out there for every other bike that I was looking to take advantage of, if I only knew more about the dimensions and wether it would accept new brackets, or modify connections, or even possibly machine/wire edm cut my own? I just hate the thought of spending money on one of these, and have it not work out without a ton more work involved. PS Ive been looking at all the options Tsukayu has to offer....
Thank you much for having me.
Alack

Welcome from Ma!! There are a million ways to do a fairing and Ive(& a million others) have researched them!!
if you search the dynamic forum you’ll find a plethora of information. I’ve done it and I went at the Memphis system as I already had a Memphis windshield. It was by far the cheapest way to go. I also got the hog tunes set up for the Memphis... meh not bad not great!!
Three are many companies that sell a kit at a much more expensive price. But you get more.
There are also ways of using Harley touring fairings as well. Problem with that is mucho alterations are needed. As well as touring fairings are prolly to large astetically for the dyna.
Have fun!!
