Hey... I have a nice windshield for sale. They never look real great on the Dyna but they work well. You can do like I did before my fairing and use one for the longer days. Then take it off when you’re riding up to Backstreets or the Dek.
If you like the style, it's hard to go wrong with an HD quick detachable.
It's on and off in literally 2-3 seconds flat. Has a place to mount a small bag for smart phone, wallet, sunglasses etc... and then when you get to your destination, if you like, pull it off and ride in the wind.

You can do the same thing with the 1/4 fairing. I think it all depends on which you prefer the looks of.
I personally love the tsport repop fairings. After having run the HD 1/4 fairing, ness fairing, this has to be the best combo of looks and comfort, IMO. I'll be getting it paint-matched as soon as my tax return comes in...all depends what you are looking for. You can see my friend's bike next to mine with the classic windshield too. They may not look the best but they just work...
I had the HD windshield and couldn't get rid of the buffeting. Tried everything..ditched it for a Birch fairing.
My wife has a NC deflector screen on her Sporty and likes it just fine. Its small and very adjustable.
