Default Ticked off -

So today was the warmest day so far and I was starting to mount my rotor and pulley to my new custom wheels that I received.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the rear wheel came with the directional tire mounted backwards. So, I’m really angry and wasted a day. I also have to wait till Monday to resolve because they are closed.

I am not starting a thread on directional tires and how it is safe to run them backwards, so please do not start arguing about that.

Just venting!

Yep. I guess I can go to a local and pay to get the tire remounted and then hope that the vendor does right by me.

Take photos for proof of the tire being mounted backwards so you'll have proof if indeed you do have an indi remount it..

Good luck and be safe

Just another reason to buy some tire spoons so you can mount tires yourself

Although sent as a package, if ordered for a specific bike... They should know. Hopefully you can get reimbursed for the cost to swap it around. Although Im doubtful.

I hate to need other people; especially ones I can't trust to do something right.

Quote : $90 at stealer to flip the rubber.
$30 at local Indy.
Then i though a minute and slapped myself

All I needed to do was swap the hub. So I removed it and flipped sides. Duhhhh. All done.

Out riding today.
