Default RE: Forward AND Mid Controls?

Lucky I had a look back over the last few days, as I was going to do a post on this subject.
I have been running highway pegs to see if I would like the forward position before spending on forwards, and am liking this possy on long rides so far.
I still like my mid pegs for a rest, so I can see a lot of merit in going this way.
What forward control sets do people prefer? Factory offering, or others??

I just bought the mid mounts for my 06 wide glide. On right, brake side; had to cut the pin that the mid brake pedal rotates on because it's in the way of the forward cntrl brake rod. Just on the right side alone would take some major moding to have both controls working on a 06. And a whole set of other problems on the shifter side. I just want another foot positionand maybe some shock absorption on bumpy roads.

So...what would I need to put just mid pegs on a 2004 WG?

07 lowrider comes with mid controls and forward pegs. 95% of the time I shift and brake with my heels, works wonderfully for me. When on longer rides I can adjust to to standard shifting style if need be.

Good luck.

First you have to make sure is that your WG has the mounts for mid pegs on the frame, I don't know as I ride a Superglide that had both mounts on the frame already. If you have the bolt holes/bracket already, all you need is a set of mid control mounts, 4 bolts and a pair of pegs. Total cost used, probably less than $100.00.

actually, much less then 100$.
stock mid-mounts off any post-'99 dyna will work
they are very common on e-bay. you can have a set for a few bux if you'r patient enough.
