A quick pictorial comparison of Techflex.
I have three variations of their PET sleeving:
Techflex Flexo
Techflex Flexo "Tight Weave"
Techflex F6 "Woven"
The F6 is a split loom with 25% overlap and the Flexo is tubular (no split)
They have many, MANY other variations but these are what I've tried so far. I've also tried a couple different generic versions and the usual corrugated amd spiral stuff. In my opinion, only the Techflex is worth using. There is a huge jump in quality and appearance.
You can buy this stuff many places including eBay and Amazon but selection can spotty. I found https://www.wirecare.com to have an amazing selection at fair prices.
Anyway, here are some pics...
Top to bottom: F6 Woven, Tight Weave, Regular
Scissor cuts, no heat, L to R: Regular, Tight Weave, F6 Woven (I teased the cut ends on purpose to show fraying behavior)
Hot knife cut, L to R: Regular, Tight Weave, F6 Woven
Density and appearance when in use. Notice the wire color visibility thru the loom. Top to bottom: Regular, Tight Weave, F6 Woven.
The braided tubes are like Chinese finger traps: it expands and contracts while shortening/lengthening, respectively.
The Woven tube is more like fabric. It doesn't stretch. The split and overlap does allow for changes in diameter, though. It will accomodate splices and fittings and such.

I prefer the Tight Weave and F6 so far. I kinda depends on exatly what the goal is and what kind of access and/or installation complexity you have.
I started with the regular flexo and decided it allowed too much visibility of the wires. Then I gpt the tight weave. I've been really happy with it and that's what is all my bike right now.
I picked out the F6 because I have some ignition wiring from the various sensors that I don't want to cut/splice or otherwise disturb. The split lets me cover it without much hassle.
In my opinion, the braided stuff looks more modern and technical while the woven stuff looks more vintage. Same PET material either way so chemical, heat, and abrasion rating are all excellent. (PET is what phone screen protectors are often made of). Those specs and more can be found at the Techflex website.
It's kind of daunting how many different sleeves they offer. Almpst any color, pattern, weave density, or material you can want.

If anybody wants pics of the corrugated and spiral or any other specifics, I'm happy to help.

I was looking in my garage yesterday for left over sleeving from when I cleaned up my wire harness over ten years ago, but couldn't find it so I ordered four different sizes from Amazon last night. I didn't know that they had a tighter weave until I saw your post today, looks like the tight weave is the one to get
When I did mine I removed all the factory sleeving (except the sleeving in the handlebars) to make a more flexible and smaller bundle, but with the new braid I could see the wires through it, so I doubled up the braid by pulling it over itself, so one end would be uncut and I melted the other end so it wouldn't fray. The uncut end looks cleaner but ended up not being a big deal because all the ends are not seen as they are tucked in the frame, headlight, signals, or under the console. I also rolled the cut end in, but mind over matter, what does it matter, its not visible anyway.
A couple of tips below that may or may not be helpful:
Factory sleeving was bonded to the grommets on the headlight and signals, so after removing the wiring I cut the sleeving flush and used an old drill bit to enlarge the hole. I heated up the shank of the drill bit and pushed it through the grommet, trimmed off the excess melted factory sleeving and pulled the new braid with the wiring through.
