Default Power Commander VS. Thundermax

Let the debate begin.

Look I've had the PCIII sinceI got this bike last year.
I have problems with the bike occasionally dying.
Idle seems higher sometimes than other times.
I have a couple of friends who have the same problems.
It's seems I can never get it completly worked out.
I don't hate it,I just wonder if there is something better out there.
Also the sound of an "Auto-tune Module" is inviting considering I'd like to do
some engine mods ( head work and cams) and I don't trust anyone but myself to tune or work on my bike.
Let's hear your thoughts.
Thanks

Is a appleto orange comparison. The more apple to apple comparisons would be Tmax AT vs DTT TCFIIID or PCIIIX vs SERT.

Did you install the Thundermax yourself? How hard was the install?

I installed 2, First i did it on my bro's nighttrain ( he was my gimme pig i just really wanted to see how good this thing was LOL) and then i did it on my bob, both with new exhaust. both were quite easy the train was easier, only cause the ecm is right there under the seat. ran the wires for the forward O2 sensor onder the tank nice and clean install and coiled up the cable for the computer on my bob under the seat, took me about 2 hrs on my bob

I dunno, but if anybody is planning to do the T-Max anytime soon, nows the time. Cycle Spot has the Gen II's on sale for 729, I paid over 800 for mine back in Jan.
