I really like the look of the mirrors flipped. The problem that Im having is figuring out how to do it? I have 16 Street Bob, the clutch side is the easy part, the clutch side is the problem since the mirror stem is the turn signal mount. Has anyone been able to describe how to do the modification, if so please let me know.
First, mock up the mirrors to where you think they will mount. Try to determine if you'll be able to see behind you well. Sometimes flipping the mirrors doesn't work, depending on the bars and other factors. If it looks like you can use them that way then go ahead and buy what you need.
Call me crazy, but mounting the mirrors upside down? Wouldn't that be more of a distraction?
As you would be looking downward more?
Or at least I felt like I was when I tried that.. Even with 14 inch bars on a 3 inch risers felt like I took my eyes off the road more than I wanted to...
Just my two cents..
Just Dont. Itll save your *** one day not doin so
I always look over my shoulder anyway. I mostly watch the mirrors when I'm stopped at a traffic light for oncoming cages.
And to see how pretty I am. LMAO
