How can I keep my..........
Exhaust pipes clean? For some reason I keep getting boot marks on the pipes. It didn't seem to happen much with my old Sporty. Not a problem cleaning them off but I would like to prevent it. I know forward controls would do it but I like the mids.

black em out, or remove heat sheilds an pick up some exhaust wrap, comes in black too if your into that raw look..... when my pipes where still chrome i scuffed the hell out them constantly with my boots...IMO jus shows you ride it, nothing stays new looking forever....use Neverdull an it should clean that up the best but wear an tear is gonna happen... i wouldnt suggest using anything abrasive to get burned on rubber off cus itll scuff the chrome.. a couple times i got that off with a very wet towel when the pipes were real hot after a ride. after awhile the constant rubbing will eventually dull the chrome permenantly in that spot.

Riding barefoot! How do I get the skin off the pipes?
I thought I read somewhere on this forum that J&P or someone sells some king of a guard. I also thought about wrapping them. I think black wrap would look good.
