Default Audio on a Dyna

I've tried out listening to bluetooth audio through a donated Sena SMH-10. They were free hand me downs so maybe are in rough shape? However, the sound sucked. Has anyone had good luck with something like this? They picture one example with the speakers mounted to the crash bars. I'm already running aux lights (LED), oil cooler fan, phone charger, and Power Vision off the stock Dyna electrical system.
Amplified Motorcycle Speaker System

or am I just better off sticking to my old standby of just listening to my D&D Fat Cat and leaving the tunes to the baggers?

Lots of views but no comments. I'm unsure if the silence reflects a bias towards the D&D Fat Cat or the Motorcycle Tunes speaker system... or does it depend on what music I would be playing??

The fat cat is loud but I use an amp with handlebar mounted speakers. These guys have the best handlebar speakers and they pair them with some very well performing amps that have a lot of functionalityhttps://www.steelhorseaudio.com/

Stick with the fat cat unless you have a fairing to put the speakers in....or earbuds....I've never had the desire to listen to tunes on a bike....you asked😁

I went round and round with audio ideas fir my dyna. Wound up ultimately putting a fairing on with head unit, amp and 6x9s. Gets plenty loud at 80mph with room to spare.
The kyryakyn handlebar mount one is good but I think is in the 300 range.
The pod types I've seen a lot and seem to do the job for half as much or less.

The only music I want to listen to when I'm riding is coming out of the pipe.

I agree. I know I'll get a lot of flack for saying this, but the thing that says "I understand why some people hate motorcycles" most to me is someone riding down my street with speakers blaring twice as loud as his pipes. If you want to listen to the radio, get a Cadillac, or something... (Oh, no matter how good it may sound to you, it sounds like carp to everyone else...)

I usually ride with earplugs and a full face with Bluetooth sena. Better than any sound system at 80mph for half the cost . But riding with the rumble of the engine is still number one

I have the Plex audio setup. With a rokform case and mount this setup is awesome. My phone is front and center for GPS and music, and this setup sounds great. No problem hearing it loud and clear at 80.
