Dyna top speed
The other afternoon I was heading home from a quick jaunt on the bike.
Just to set the scene, I was on a divided highway with no traffic to be seen in either direction. I decided this was as good a time as any to open it up and see what the bike could do. Anyway, the best I could do was 180 kph (112mph). I had the throttle wide open and the speedo just bounced around at 180 kph. I didn't hold it very long, 10 or 15 seconds, but that was as fast as I could get the bike to go.
The bike is stage 1 with V&H short shots and SE air filter.
I'm sure i've seen posts where folks have gone upwards of 120 mph on their bikes. What gives?

I don't know how fast mine will go yet since the 95 build. But I have bumped into 100MPH as few times and had plenty to spare.
Humm, do you remember the RPMs? I wonder if the rev limiter is set right. It should be with the download but..stock twinkies should do much better than that with the upgrade.
If it was dynoed you would know it. =)

WELL YOU HAVE TO BUY THE S.E.RACE TUNER KIT $469.00 FROM THEMAND THEN THEY WILL DYNO YOUR BIKE, THE CHANGES I SEE YOU MADE AND ON ANY2006 AND LATER MODEL YOU HAVE TO BUY THE RACE TUNER AND THEN HAVE IT DYNO TUNED , IT MAY SEEM LIKE IT IS RUNNING FINE BUT THE INSIDE'S ARE NOT BECAUSE OF THE EMISSIONS AND 02 SENORS IN YOUR BIKE , I WOULD CHECK MY RECEIPT AND SEE WHAT IT SAYS , YOU CAN HAVE ENGINE DAMAGE WITHOUT HAVING A MAP DOWNLOADED AND DYNO'D !!

I have done alot of stuff to my bike dynoed 118HP &114 TQ at the wheel, I raced my buddy did 120 MPH slowed only because I have the 10inch T-bars and I dont like being unstable at that speed, I was only in fifth still have way more to go.
