fluids leaking
07 SUPERGLIDE WITH NOT EVEN 800 MILE LEAKING FLUIDS THRU THE GASKETS AND OILFILTER WAS TOLD TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR 1,000 MILE INSPECTION AND THAT THEY ARE FINDING THIS TO BE COMMON AND AFTER THEY TIGHTEN EVERTHING AND CLEAN UP THE BIKE IT SHOULD NOT HAPPEN AGAIN ANY BODY HAVE ANY INPUT IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

mite be nice if you first tell us who you are,etc,as i see you are a new member with first post . chill down please. take a deep breath. count to 10 . then count to one. repete same steps 3 times .
take back back s.t.a.t to the dealer.

got an 07 street bob, same engine as your bike, got about 1400 miles on it and no leaks,
my 01 sporty after about 3000 miles had to have the gaskets on the rocker boxe's replaced, so its not
unheard of for low mile bikes to develope a leak, and that goes for harleys and metrics

It can happen. Hell on my metric I had a head bolt that was lose and started to leak oil and this was within 500 miles. [:@]So far my Wide glide is running great.

Thank you to all responded and sorry about theyelling appointment made at the dealer to be looked at thanks.
The dealer said this is normal and im not buying it thanks for the confirmation

I have a 2006 Wide Glide, I had brought it into the dealer for the trans recall and when I had gotten it back it was leaking on the primary side. Brought it in and the primary gasket was replaced. Then a few days later i noticed a leak again. This time from where the trans couples with the primary. Then again I noticed a leak this time is was from the shifter shaft. Now finally it seems to not be leaking. So you never know. Keep on the dealer until they fix it right. Why pay for parts and change every thing yourself when they will do it for free under the warrenty.
