Had this in the tool box for 4 years now, recently had some things PC so threw this in (it was chrome-they didn't have black when I bought it).
I think it's from V-Twin Manufacturing. The rubber ***** are from Amazon and I over reefed them a bit which mangled them a little; small potatoes, I ain't got time to grieve for that.
Mounted it up this morning and just tested it, it takes some getting used to. I would prefer the back end to be about a 1/2" longer, I think the leverage would suit me better.
I like the ole' heel/toe on past dressers and figured what the hell, give it a try. I may turn it clockwise a notch, wouldn't be surprised if I don't keep it, it's all about sheets and greens anyway.
I love mine on my FXDWG, it's an original Heelhammer or at least that's what it was presented as when I bought it used. It did take a couple of days to get used to, now I don't think I could go back. For some odd reason once in a while I'll downshift by accident when I mean to upshift, not sure why my brain says heal and my foot decides toes.
I get it on floorboards...but with pegs, if you use the heel shift, you will never get that cool mark on the toe of your boots that proves you are a rider and not just a yuppie.

Understood, but sometimes you just have to take extra care not to scuff up your patent leather wingtips when scooting on over to the more formal occasions! Ha!
