Grip Poll
Ha, funny title, right?
How many of you are running grips that are slightly longer than your bars? You know, hanging off the end a little? I am setting up my new bars on the Street Bob now and the bar ength is going to be short probably a 1/2 inch. Part of the reason is the weld at the step down from the 1.5" section to the 1" section, it creates an area where the clutch/brake lever mount can't sit flush. I'm not too worried about the throttle side because the tube will stiffen things up, but the clutch side will just be empty rubber grip and might be a little floppy.
