engine cutting out when hot
Hello, I read a lot in this forum and already took some advice in checking out different things. Here my problem, the bike is running great when cold for about 10 miles. After this, the engine is cutting out and will not start until engine is cold again. Its not turning over at all, the fuel pump and starter not getting power and when i hit the run /start switch nothing is happening. The bike is cutting out like somebody is hitting the stop switch. On my last visit to the dealer (260 miles away), he put it on the scan and could not find anything. There is no fault code so far. the bike was running great for about a year (14000 miles) and now it is starting to act.

I was having a similar problem with my '13 Super Glide a few months back and checked a lot of the same things you did. Turned out is was my battery connection at the negative terminal.
It was plenty tight when I would check it, but if I disconnected it and then reconnected it, the bike would have power again. I cleaned up the terminals then added dialectic grease and a lock washer to the connection and have been trouble free since. Not sure if it's what's happening for you, but it's easy to try. Good luck.

Hi Jeremey
Thank you very much for your advice, checked this already. Turns out Joe was right. I disassembled the handlebar and after testing the switches i found the run switch only made sometimes contact. A new one is on the way and i hope the problem will be resolved.
