Yeah I've had oil get pushed through the breather before on my old VStar 1100.

I like external breathers but they interfere with my ability to brake with forward controls.

I've got one on the Sportster and I had to put an extra long brake pedal on it because of the interference.

Tires were just put on last year. Never been ridden since.

That's what I thought when I saw the first pics. But no they're motorcycle tires.

Matched set front and rear.

Here's a better pic. It's only got 12,000 miles on it. Just ordered $2100 worth of parts and accessories yesterday. Windshield, Engine guards Shifter/ Peg,l brake pedal Already installed. All lubes / filter, Grips / throttle lock, Head light upgrade ,Signal lights. Saddle bags H.M. ,Luggage rack And miscellaneous other maintenance stuff.

The oil pan drain was stripped. Actually the transmissionl drain.

Apparently some one used a helicoil for the repair

That's usually a one time fix and not permanent

There was basically very little thread left

So I drilled and tapped 1/64th larger and found a 5 x 20 O.S. plug.

Worked perfectly. But I ordered a new oil pan anyway for next oil change.
