Twin cams thru 2005 has mechanical chain tensioner issues.
Hydraulic cam chain tensioner started in 2006.
88 ci thru 2006. 96 ci starting in 2007
New stiffer frame in 2006 with larger fork tubes
6-speed trans in 2006
Inner primary bearing issues with 2006 models
Fuel injection standard beginning in 2007.
2007-2010 had some compensator issues.
2011 and later got the screaming eagle compensator standard. This was commonly retrofitted on 2007-2010s
This year I purchased a 2011 FXDC with 10k miles for $6800.
Also just purchased a 2013 FLD with 5k miles for $6900.

I second this.... I have not heard anything negative about the 103's... really nice running motors
