So you took out the DB baffle? How about a pic of the baffle and what does the inside of the muffler now look like? And don't forget about a sound bite or vid... Congrats..

Went for a short ride today. Didn’t have a lot of time so only an hour or so.
Well, I must have lost a lot of hearing over the last 5 years, because when I had one on my 2016 it sounded MUCH louder and I pulled it after about 5 days.. This time, it’s definitely loud, but doesn’t hurt (my ears) or for a second make me think about taking it off. Really like it.
It must be much more free flowing because my tune is messed up. Really lean. I had to run two auto tunes just to get it to stop leaning out at points. Once done though, it felt very good. In its barely tuned state (and I mean barely - two 15 min auto tune basics didn’t do very much) it feels very, very good. I have to get it properly tuned and on a dyno but it definitely feels like it’s got noticeably more power above 3k, and maybe a bit more under. But I won’t say for sure until I get more tuning done.
And... It sounds gooooood. Real good. Definitely needs those heat shields - I could feel the heat. But I really like it. I’ll get a clip soon as it’s not popping.
Interesting. I found a photo online of the same view down the barrel of a ThunderHeader and it looks exactly the same. I guess they said to hell with patents and made an exact copy?

If I remember correctly I believe that’s why they are made in Europe. Something about a certain 1% group contracting a fab shop in Spain to make an exact (albeit improved) copy. Hence the name.

Yep, I heard that too. But I would have thought if sold in the US there could be consequences? Who knows. I guess China does it all the time eh?
I wonder if the ThunderHeader heat shields would fit it???

Maybe there are a reason why they got their office in Monaco ?
I do think they are made in Italy, though.
By the way, Mchad , what happened to the Road King ?
