Just bought an 08 Low Rider and will be installing TBR Comp S 2-1 pipes and Arlen Ness Big Sucker air intake. I can't seem to find any maps for this setup for either Fuelpak 3 or Power commander 5. Any recommendations? There is a PC5 for sale for $200 near me vs $400 for the FP3. I don't anticipate moving beyond stage 1.
For the PC5, even if you did buy it I believe you will still need to purchase a license so no real savings there, plus it's used... I myself don't care for the FP3. I'm told it's limited to improvements over time (Heads, compression piston upgrades).. The Power Vision is what I use and is very simple to use and depending on who you buy it from will load a good map to get you started. I purchased mine from Fuel Moto and will have their support for many years free of charge...
Another vote for the Power Vision, bought mine from Fuel Moto. Easy to use and auto-tune to get VE tables dialed in, data logging capable, speedo correction if you've changed pulley's, etc...

The PC5 does not marry to a bike and does not need an additional license. I have one on my 06 and it is great. I also have an fp3 on my 19 with cams and it runs great. And there's nothing wrong with a Power Vision. My 2 cents if you don't plan to go past a stage one just put in the PC 5 but don't pay 200 for a used one....150-175

PV all the way. My bike had a V&H FuelPak on it when I bought it.
I found the PV local for $30, bought a license for$179 and threw out the Pieceof **** FuelPak.
