Anyone was wondering , like I was, it is possible to wrap a Thunderheader with one 50 ft roll of exhaust wrap . I ended up with about 5 ft left over. Here's a pic of my Thunderheader still in the vise drying in my pig sty garage.Sorry I didn't take pics throughout the process but it was nasty job and my hands were full most of the time.I actually wrapped part of it twice because I got all the way done and found some wrinkles I wasn't happy with.

Will do, I figure a days worth of drying then a good paint job with some high heat Ceramic and it be back together by Friday at the latest. In the mean time I have a few more small projects on the back burner.
sorry for the noob question, but if you spray it with the tape on there, won't that pose a problem? will it look like painted tape, or will it be smooth? won't it chip since it is sprayed on tape?
Looks good Ed.Did you use 1" or 2" wrap. I did my my thunderheader with a 50' roll or 2" wrap, and had almost half the roll left over. I only overlapped about 1" though. My wrap has been on for about 12,000 miles now, and it's definitely faded. I'm going to paint it this weekend, I'll try and get some before and after pics. Here's how it looked when I first did it (without paint).
