fork lock not working

I guess it must have gotten out of adjustment somehow.
Any tricks to get it working again, or should i take it to the dealer.

There was a lot of discussion about this a year or so ago.
If I remember correctly, the solution was as simple
as reaching up from underneath with a screwdriver.
Look it up. I may be wrong about the screwdriver (alignment issue).

I had the same problem on my 2006 FXDI. I used a screwdriver to nudge it back to the proper position then I cut a short piece of fuel hose and wedged it in the space to keep it from moving out of position again.
I had the same problem too. So what I did was take the front forks off and dance around them chanting for a little while. . . It didn't work. [:@]
But seriously, I don't know what i would do if I hadn't found this forum. Y'all have saved my butt from the dealer more times than I can count. Thanks!!

Go to Academy or where ever and git some Remington Rem lube, Its a Teflon spray . If you could find Tri Flow its better. Put the plastic nossle in it and spray it in the keyhole. The locks needs to be lubricated every now and then or they git dry from water, heat, Humidity, and dirt.
It might help. I've used to try to show folks to lub their locks when I had a business.
