I am looking to sell my 2003 100th anniversary FXDWG, 22k miles, great shape (new wheels, tires, etc,,,). KBB shows $8k estimated value, does that seem high? Picture attached.

Depends on how good a salesman you are. That bike could last longer then a new one they want 3 times that and a lot higher taxes and insurance.
Just need to find right buyer.
Be patient. Put it in Ebay local only, Crag's list. Start at 10K. Leave emotion out of it. Have your take value wrote down. After a few weeks, lower ask to take and lower take.
It will sale.

NADA says $6860 Retail. If you Totaled it, that's what the Insurance Company will Pay you. Private Sale I'd say $5000-$6000. A lot depends on what it needs, Tires, Cam Chest Upgrades etc.
If it has all the maintenance up to date, new tires and all things good in the engine, brake fluid flushed, etc., ask $8,500.00 and go from there. If no takers drop $250.00 at a time until you get to your bottom line.
Do your homework, search for similar machines for sale in a 200mi. radius of you on every market sight you can, DO NOT rely on KBB or NADA pricing, they tend to not reflect real world markets depending on location. What might be a $6000 bike in rural areas could be a $9000 machine in others.
Give you an idea, here in the bay area there's one of those for sale right now, $9K.
