Being an old overweight geezer of 51 with a bad back I don't find the stoke seat that come with the '07 Streetbob particularlycomfortable. I have bought a Corbin Classic Sole with a Standard Ovalbac backrest to replace it as HD don't do any solo seats with backrests.
I know its a bit like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted - and here's the loaded question - has anyone got tired this combination and how did they find it. My new seat has taken 8 weeks to come from Corbin to the UK and is due in ina couple of weeks.
I've got a stock seat,a C&C solo, and a Mustang wide solo hanging on the wall. The combination you have is what I'm most comfortable with. I do take the back rest off every once in a while just to make myself quit slouching back against the back rest. I also changed risers to one that moves the handlebars up and back just a bit,but that's personal preference. The Corbin seat seemed very hard at first and either it softened up with use or I got used to it,but it's fine now, probably got about fifteen thousand miles on the seat.
Here's a pic of my Mustang with backrest. Tried the Corbin, did not like the feel or the look. I also have back problems and the Mustang has worked for me.
