Default True Trak help

Hi All,
As per instructions, the stop is to be 3/8" (9.5mm) from the top of the bolt to the bracket.
I am fully bottomed out on the bolt and don't have that measurement, also how did everyone fit a spanner onto those two bolt, I don't have any room.
Not sure what is going wrong here.
Anyone have the same issue? Cheers

Have you replaced the Motor Mounts? If not I think that may help.

You should have quite a bit more room than that.

+1 with pgrchaplain; I replaced both front and rear motor mounts and did a whole reset of the engine being mounted in the frame before tightening everything back down. There's a procedure for aligning the motor in the frame that I believe involves loosened all of the bolts including the top mount, adjusting the left / right orientation with the top mount then actually running the motor to get it to "relax" / sit level and square in the frame then tightened everything back down.

It would be a really good idea to send them your pictures and get whatever advice they're willing to give. I contacted them at one point and they were pretty responsive but that's been several years ago now.

Thanks for the responses gents
Yes I changed the motor mount yesterday brand new.
I am going to change the back over the next few days also
The bike is on a jack at the moment as I have the back wheel off, so not sure if that has something to do with it

When the front mount fails the whole engine shifts back due to the front mount being on an angle. The rear mount takes a set in the rearward position, so when you install a new front mount there is a gap. Now your old rear mount is stressing the new front mount. Change the rear mount ASAP and get the engine back centered where it belongs, then readjust the True-Track. (Do you have the rear True-Track, too?)

You probably already realize this, but the time to work on the back is when the wheel is off.

Cheers John,
Yes I will be changing the rear mount and I have rear true trak as well. I will be doing this while the wheel is off, will be done in next few days.
Do you think that will fix the issue with not having the 3/8 gap between the bolt stop and the true trak bracket?
Cheers

I guess it depends on whether the front mount recovers its original shape or not. If you're not going to fix it now maybe you could jack up the front of the engine and push it forward, or loosen the bolts holding it to the frame to take the stress off.
