That is my target.. June.. I really hope we can get together..
I think I'm going to bring both bikes up and run them both.. Maybe you can teach me a little bit of coming off the line... I'm still struggling with that a little bit..
Well hows your clutch? Hot laps mess my stocker up.
Normal blasts are fine but test n tune especially at Cicero, Bikes are 3rd class citizens and get put in the back for late day back to backs
Just make sure all your parts are set up to work together.. That is the key...
I hope they do, from the calculations, it should be fine, But I don't have a stage 4 head lol just a stage 1 for now, and see how it goes. Your first dyna build how much Ci you went? 88 to 95 or 98 or 100
I’ll share I watched a 103” shovel gain a lot of mph going from 1 3/4 to 2” pipes. A lot of swept volume with a 5” stroke… but I gotta think in principle cubes are cubes. 111 cubes is significant. Maybe keep in open mind to a set of cheap 2” drag pipes.. like 36-38” long just to see. If it raises your mph you know what’s choking the mph isn’t heads but exhaust. Bare with me… forget what the dyno says about those pipes, go see what the slips say. You never know.. maybe it doesn’t work out, but $150 to know is worth it.
I've done back to back 1/4 mile test hits several times and never an issue with the clutch. It's an Energy One extra plate with an SE spring.. if there's an issue with it, it should show up on the dyno..

Initially it was a 103" with Stage II heads w/85 cc combustion chambers, Woods tw5-6 cams and a tuner..
A little update, a little over a week ago I got my heads back and as I was putting everything together after removing cylinders and pistons to clean everything up so I could clay valve to Pistons and replace the cylinder base O-rings.. I found the intake rocker geometry was way off..I took pictures and sent them to the shop to discuss a plan of action or should I say a repair..
So the heads had to go back to have shorter intake valves installed and reset spring pressure on the seat.. I now have 170 psi valve on the seat.. And today I got the heads back and started to reassemble everything and the geometry is a lot better..
So I was able to get the heads on, rockers all assembled and set pushrod preload to .135".. Because the heads were shaved .080" I had to change the width of the new 1.800" intake from HPI.. I also replaced the rear socket cap screws on the intake flanges with a regular hex bolt.. it can be a real pita to tighten the OEM screws with an Allen wrench.. A 1/2" wrench is a lot easier..
If everything goes good I should have it running tomorrow..
