Just me but I'd be changing the injector size in the map before riding. You've just added roughly 35% to your fueling by not changing it.. Hate to be washing the cylinders. You don't get long to seat the rings.
When you shave the heads the intake manifold needs to be narrower. The motor is a 45° V so when the heads get closer to the base, the opening for the intake gets smaller.
Those numbers are good. It's simply 2 x sin(22.5 deg) x the change in length to the head. It may be more or less depending on the overall fit.. You can set it up tighter in some cases. Trim less to get a tight fit. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/engin...l#post20487305

Yeah I would start with something like 0.020" from each side of the intake. Sneak up on what will give you about 0.015" gap each side.
Just want to give a little update on this last build that I did, the level of performance from 2200 to 5800 is phenomenal.. I trusted the shop on the T-man 660 cam and it definitely performs with a lot of compression... The early cylinder fill with the heads stage 4 and I'm using there's power in the band everywhere.. I don't believe I ever had a performer like this ever.. I just got off the phone with Scott and I'm going to be going upstate in the next couple weeks We're going to get it on the dyno and get it properly tuned, I don't think my tune is that far off but we'll see what happens on the dyno..
Let me put it this way for a little 110-in motor, I can do a roll on a 15 mph in 1st gear and the front end ain't down on the ground till I let off the throttle to grab second gear.. It's like riding a wave, it's amazing.. It's a great combination..
