I acquired a seat and was told it is for a Dyna Glide and authentic Harley Davidson. Ive had a person tell

me its not authentic Harley Davidson and its an inch too short for a Dyna glide. I dont think this person knows bikes for many different reasons. Would really like to know what i have, if you can help it would be much appreciated.
I think that seat is called "Badlander", and it is a genuine Harley seat.
The seats for Superglides vs Wide glides have different length, not sure which one is the longer one.
I think the actual seat is the same for the Wide Glide, but, you have to use a longer fender mount tab at the back; maybe the one from the OEM factory seat?

I have this seat, and want to install it on my Wide Glide, but it's about an inch too short. I'd never heard of "a longer fender mount tab". Is there really such a thing that you can buy? I can't find anything at my usual places, wondering if anyone has any ideas.
