Default Am I Dum?

I've been running West Coast MX T-Bars for several years, they are notched for TBW but when I installed them, I just mounted up my dual cable throttle and called it good. I never noticed any difference in length left to right (but I also never scrutinized it) but I have always been disappointed with my Biltwell Whiskey throttle tube. It rattles and moves in (toward the bar center) and out (toward the bar end) and makes fine throttle control difficult. Then I noticed this the other day Drag Specialties Handlebar Plug for TBW Handlebars - 0634-0331 - Dennis Kirk should I have one of those on the bar end? Are you guys that are running TBW bars with cable throttles using these?

It's spelled "dumb". I won't make any assumptions though.

I would assume ( yeah, I know ) that the plug would stick out from the end of bar
somewhat and may take up the movement you have.
Depending on cost, it may be worth a try.

My burly brand t bars came with a plug like that for dual cables. I would say remove and install one.

Well, I ordered and installed the other day. Throttle tube movement is much less and the Brembo master fits much more comfortably since the bars taper up to 1.25" and not having that plug was pushing things a 1/2" or more inboard than they should have been. I still can't believe that I never noticed/thought of that bar plug for the last however many years I've been running them.
