after 6 weeks with my Big Radius , thinking that maybe i want them louder. anyone ever drill or take out baffles in V & H Big Radius, i have the Thunder Max , will i have to re-tune ? thanks
I took out the baffles as soon as my V&H were put on. They were replaced with Big City Thunder baffles so I could keep my back pressure. Put it back on the Dyno but probably really didn't have to.

Take the baffles out. They will be loud. I just had the bike dynoed about 6 weeks ago without the baffles in and my results were only off by 1-2 HP and 4 ft/lbs of torque from the factory numbers. I can't and won't notice that small change in exchange for a much louder sounding bike. You should not have to do anything with the Tmax. I also have the Tmax, and did not have to do anything to mine. It's setup to constantly tune itself for different variables, provided you set it up properly to begin with.
Just spent an hour in the garage, decided to take out baffles, got the first one off in 5 minutes, second one was friggin ceased in there.Took me another beer and 2 smokes but i got it out. Sounds good, too late for a ride so i'll check it out tomorrow, if performance doesn't change much, and i'm happy with sound i'm leaving it alone, Big City Thunder Baffles might have to wait, thanks for your opinions
Maybe it's just me, but why do you want more noise only??? My Superglide is loud....but it's a by-product of hi-flow S&S mufflers which increase performance.
