Just got the stage 1 air cleaner kit & fuelpack, can I install it my self or its better to let the stealer do it? My ride is 07 bob with only 550 miles, should I wait & do it after the first service or go ahead with it now?
Just did the same thing to my Dyna 2006 low rider....just watch the Vance and Hines installation video and get your map settings on line. I purchased a torque wrench (10 - 80 foot pounds) so I tightned everything correctly.Overallpretty straight forward tasks. I just take my time when I am doing these things.
Did I miss something? did you also get exhaust? the old story - extra in/extra out. It doesn't do it justice if you only get more in, you also have to exhaust it.
I just installed the Screaming Eagle A/C, V&HBig Shots Staggered and the FuelPak
on my 2008 Dyna Lowrider at 450 miles. If you watch the video on the V&H website, read the instructions and take your time, you should be OK.
Like the other gentleman said, it doesn't make much sense to install a free flow intake, if you do not have a free flow exhaust.
Installed V&H slip ons a month ago, just feeling its running a bit hotter than before so decided to add the SE air cleaner & Fuelpack to cool it down.
I have owned many Harleys and done way too many mods to all of them. BUT, I added Khrome Werks slip ons, a SE air cleaner and a power Commander USBII and it made it feel like anew , and much better bike. Never have i done so much for so little and like it so well. Mine is a "05 FXDCI. I just used the PC because I wanted to be able to play with the programs on my laptop. You did good........I think you'll like the results.
