If you want sound and you want performance git you a set of D&D Fat Cat pipes and a Thundermax with auto tune. Then you can tune yer bike easy and when you make changes you don't have to pay the dealer.
it came with the screaming eagle high flow air cleaner, and has screaming eagle pipes on it. my problem is they both suck donkey *****.
I just wanted to go on record as defending the S/E pipes as not totally sucking donkey *****. The upper 4 inches of the headerflange end are perfect for cutting off and using to make custom pipes...
Put everything on, ride and see what it does. If it seems ok, then you may be ok. The only thing to caution you on is that if you are running to lean, you could cause some real damage to the motor, so it is kind of up to you. I did something of this to mine, and before I even started it I put on a PCIII and have not looked back. I wish you luck in what ever direction you choose to go.
thanks for all the input, i think im going to put the pipes on and see how they sound/feel first. then if need be ill probably go with the PC3 usb.
have the pcIII off my 06 if you want to buy it. give you a good deal. guy dynoing my bike on friday is gonna flash my factory chip so i will be taking it off on friday morning..
