I got mine on Ebay they're made for a 68-70 Triumph or BSA.They're super easy to install they just slide down over the down tubes. They don't require any clamps or cutting to size like some other gaitors I've seen .
They got gators on that rad looking Nightster, don't they? Basically the same front end.
I actually have both bikes in the garage and I can say they are not the same. The Nightster hasa 39mm front end and the Bob has a 49mm fornt end. I wanted these too however I have not found a set I like yet. I am counting on Harley to do this factory soon on a Dyna and just use those.
can anyone suggest a source for fork gaiters on a street bob... thanks
I used these - needed to be cut down a few inches, amount depends on what springs you're using or if you slid your forks up. Ought to be able to get any off road bike dealer (Honda, Suzuki, etc) to order them or do a google search. You want the series 408 which are 49mm.
Ed is right... that way you do not have to cut them or put clamps on it... looks good! i love them! DO NOT GET THE KIND THAT THE SPORTYS HAVE TOTALLY DIF!!!!
You do not need to disassemble the forks, meaning you don't mess with springs or oil. You do have to slide the forks down out of the triple trees. This requires removing the front wheel.
+1 that is who i got mine from... the nightster and the bob are totally diff... if you get those you are just going to be SOL.... man come n... the forks donot even LOOK the same!
