I received my new fender today....after a couple of modifications it fit perfectly into place. I now have all the sheet metal, I have some bodywork to do but that should be finished this weekend......then I will paint it. I tore out all the wiring, I downloaded a wiring diagram, it doesn't appear difficult......I will soon find out.

Looks like a fun project, built a 92 springer 2 winters ago myself, learned a lot along the way, don't know if you have the tank mounted solid yet but you might want to wait to see how the curve flows with the angle of the rocker boxes before welding it for good. Need any paint or bodywork advice I've been doing it for just about 25 years and ran my own body shop. Here are some pics of my springer.

What are you thinking of using for the internal cumbustion side of things?

As far as a motor for mt project, I am going to use a crate Harley Evo engine.....I am not making a hot rod out of this bike, I just want something dependable wit a warranty.
