Default 2000 FXDS question

Ive been noticing over the last month or so my bikes starting process has changed. I usually hit the enrichner (if cold) and gas, turn on the switch, wait for the red ENGINE light to turn off before starting it. While all that is still the same, now before it starts the engine kinda stutters (more of a 1/2 a second hesitation), the ENGINE light comes back on, and it starts up fine. Nothing else appears wrong. Its like when it stutters/hesitates, it loses electrical connection, hence the red ENGINE light sequence starting over. I ride often and since this started I plug in my Battery Tender when parked for more than 1 day. Any thoughts???

I just replaced them 2k ago. This hesitation is sorta like hitting the start button, releasing it, then hitting it again. Almost like an interruption in the elec.?.?

I live in relatively warm climate .. I don't choke my 2000 FXD but I do 'pump' the throttle several times before I hit the starter switch. Every now and then it'll stutter, similar to your description, but 99% of the time it fires up like it has just been waiting for me to start it up.
