apes on a '05 FXD
First off, great forum. I have stock 2005 FXD and have only been riding for about 5 months. Every time I ride, I see great looking bikes with apes but have yet to see an FXD with apes. Does anyone have apes on their SG? If so please post them so we can all enjoy them. Also, any suggestions on size and manufacturer. I am 6' 2" and feel a little cramped the way it is stock. I have been looking at Carlini and Chubbies. Any recomendations and pics would be great.

The FXDWG comes stock with "mini-Apes"; about 8.5" rise and 9.5" pullback (something like that). I really liked them. I found them to be the perfect height for me - I'm about 5-10. Very relaxed, very comfortable.

i have mini apes on a 05 superglide and they really set it of great i have not been able to get any pictures posted yet but trust me they work great look good and feel good you seat more upright instead of leaning so forward its about the same bars as the wide glide just closer together.

I just ordered the mini apes from the wide glide for my super glide, along with chrome everything (yeah I know Skip, ya hates chrome!). It's a long cold winter here in Chicago....got to do something to keep me occupied.
