I chose the FXD (vivid black) because I like the thought that whatever upgrade I make, it will be my choice and not someone in a factory or boardroom. It will take longer to make the bike truly mine, but I consider it half the fun.
I'm in MN and it's starting to get cooler here. Still riding, but I know the day is coming. My plans are to find the look and parts that I want and start working on it during the winter months.
I was talking about all those OTHER silver engines.
LMAO!
If you can afford it ... go with the FXDC for the chrome and the big tank. If you can't afford it ... go with the Bobber. You're going to spend lots of money on it anyway, no matter what you get.
BTW ... I finally got an HD pillow-look seat the other day. I kinda' like it. The stock seat is not much better than nothing and was killing the wifey, and she's a (cute) little thing.
Thanks alot for the compliment. The seat is a Lepera Bare Bones solo.
I think it completely SLAMS the look of the bike. It is top notch in quality and is quitecheaper than the Brawler, which btw is a great seat and one I considered getting. The lepera is around 150.00 from American Classic Motors, which I think is a deal.
