forward controls

I love the role I get to play. I can be the mid-control-a$$hole.

Seriously, Herr, don't tell the rest of us what fits and what doesn't. All you can speak to from fact is what you prefer and that's all was asked here. I'm not trying to force forward controls down your throat anymore than you "should" be trying to brainwash others into staying with mids. There's a reason we can have either - because we each have our preferences. And some actually prefer both. Just because I'm not comfortable on mids doesn't mean you have to try and figure out a way to call "Bravo-Sierra" on it. I would, personally, be much less comfortable leaning it over in a turn with my feet on the mids than I am when I'm up on forwards. My knees, at my height, are still plenty bent and I can still easily shift my weight as needed and have full control. Maybe that means I'm not as aggressive a rider as you but it doesn't mean I'm less comfortable and confident. If I wanted to rub my knees on the pavement, I probably wouldn't be riding a Harley to begin with.
If you don't try to throw your Harley around like a YZ-250, countersteering and forward controls will allow you to carve any corner just as good as a guy on a Super Glide with his knees in his chest.
