Mostly depends on the dealer. Some used to say that not using HD oil voided the warrantee. Some say any mods void the warrantee. Ask your dealer/installer. They usually cover it though.
The Race Tuner is not a green light part. Look in the SE catalog or the User manual or the tuning software itself...crossed flags for race application only.It will let you do all sorts of stupid stuff with it that would contribute to engine failure
Disclaimer & Warnings
Do not install the EFI Tuner on any model other than those specified in this Userâs Manual. Doing so may result in poor engine performance, electrical-system damage, and/or engine damage.
This Screamin' Eagle EFI Tuner system is intended for high-performance applications only. This engine-related performance part is not legal for use on pollution-controlled motor vehicles. Use of this Screamin' Eagle EFI Tuner system may reduce or void the Limited Warranty Coverage.
Technically, any changes to the a/c, engine, or exhaust voids the warranty even if HD makes it and/or sells it to you. Read the fine print. Even on the lame SE mufflers, it says it can void your warranty. However, it's a technicality more or less. If you have a cracked fender, for example, they aren't going to refuse to fix it under warranty because you have a SERT installed. But, if you have a problem that they can prove was a direct result of one of those add-ons, they have an "out" on warranty coverage. I discussed this at length, just this week, with the parts manager at my dealer.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of this...
If I had a PC III installed and started having engine trouble under warranty I would remove the PC III before taking it back to the dealer. In fact, I'd get the bike as close to stock as I could before taking it in.

Any mods will void the waranty as far as the motor company is concerned. The point is they need to cover thier asses against people racing and damaging the engine, and looking for them to cover it.If you buy a bike off a dealer, most will cover any trouble that comes up in "normal operation" of the bike.
If you go out after installing a SERT and run the engine way too rich and flog it till it blows up,chances are your on your own.I dont think ANY sane dealer would cover that stuff.
I bought my SERT when I bought the bike along with V&H big shots and a Doherty air cleaner. All came recommended by the tuner at the shop.
