While everyone is on the subject of apes, does anyone know what the stock height is on an FXDWG...I measured mine, but I'm not sure if you're supposed to measure from the top of the bar's base to the bend....or from the riser to the grip...etc...(not sure if I'm wording that right, but you get the idea)
Reason I am asking is because my buddy bought my old Yamaha when I bought my Harley, and I had drag bars on that...he loves the apes on my wide glide and wants to buy something similar for his bike. I was checking the metric section of J&P's website, and see 8" and 12" apes. I have always thought that the Wide Glide has 10" mini's...am I right?
