Default engine indicator light

I ride a FXDCI Dyna Super Glide Custom have about 800 miles on it. Last night the engine light came on for a shout time (a couple of minutes) while I was on a ride. This is the same indicator light that comes on for a few seconds before you start the bike Anybody else had this happen? I will be taken it in for the 1000 mile service and for the recall soon but did n't if I should be worried.

Default RE: engine indicator light

It usually means that there was a fault in the system and if it didn't stay on that it is in history now. It will clear after 50 Ignition cycles of 30 seconds each or the dealer can check with the scanalizer and clear any necessary codes and deal with any problems that may be there.
