I ordered it direct from Dakota Digital. It was a little higher but they set the Odometer & shipped it the same day. I talked to a few discount houses who were cheaper but they would have to send it to Dakote Digital for the milage anyway.

I like the oval look on the tachs in terms of mounting under the bar and above the speedo; I am not sure I am keen on the replacement from HD which means looking down instead of straight ahead while riding. The link you provided looks nice, although I have the factory alarm system. Not sure I want to go digitial, either. Same price as HDs needle version.

I bought the Harley tach. The Wideglide mount worked perfectly.

I was referring to the Dakota Digital one you have on the Fat Boy. I haven't made my mind yet on which one I'm going to get. The mini Tach looks cool.

The Dakota Digital worked flawlessly. It was a little hard to see on bright days. I did take a&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;hit on trade in value on the Fatboy because of the altered speedo, even though the milage was corrected.
