I know FastHarley has some high end performance shocks, but what other options are out there? What about Ohlins, Showa, etc. for H-D? Does anybody have experience with any other brands? Thanks.
We are a service center for Ăhlins. we sell more Ăhlins than Penske's. Ăhlins also make their shocks for the Dyna thru shops like us and also Parts Unlimited thru drag Specialities. We make more money off of the Ăhlins however, the Penske is a much better designed shock. Fact. We get Street trackers and some Progressives as take off's when the owners change out. Sometimes they just leave the shocks here and sometimes they e-Bay them. For the price conscious, you may start looking on e-Bay for used ones. Good Luck in your endevers.
Stock Harley shocks are Showa. My Dyna doesn't have enough cornering clearance to exploit the stock suspension . While I'm sure better quality shocks will help I doubt I could fully appreciate something like a Penske or Ohlins.Ok, honestly I could appreciate the hell out of them if somebody else payed for them.
JRK5892 How long and what brand air shocks? I have 11 inch Progressives on my Low Rider And I just discovered one is leaking.
One of our members who posts a lot has premiumair shocks for sale. I personally do not know him but he has a great rep. His name is something like Bryan TTM. Just a thought. I know he paid $1,600 & wants ½ price for them. I do not know anything about these shocks but thought I would let you know.
